✿ ADHD, Hormones, and the Stories We Tell Ourselves ❀⋆✴︎˚。⋆
So much of our self-worth gets tangled up in how much we get done. But what we often forget is that what fuels our output, our ability to focus, plan, regulate, and show up, isn’t just willpower. It’s biology. It’s the unseen shifts in hormones running in the background that end up shaping how steady or scattered we feel. Let’s unpack that!
Join us for the first gathering of our in-person event series, The Executive Functions, beginning with an exploration of how hormonal rhythms shape our executive function, emotional regulation, and, the way we measure our worth.
Registered Psychologist Melvin Sert will bring her clinical insight to an afternoon of candid conversation and shared reflection, followed by a free-flow charm-building activity. We’ll learn to listen to our bodies with more compassion and rewrite the harsh narratives we’ve been carrying. You’ll leave feeling less alone, more grounded in yourself, and more connected to a community of women navigating ADHD in adulthood. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or still figuring things out,— you’re welcome here. 💌
And yes, we know this invite is coming in hot (just two weeks away!)—but if planning ahead isn’t your strong suit either, maybe it’s perfect timing!
